Cisco Academy Program.

National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has been accredited by Cisco Systems on July 16th 2006 as Cisco Academy Training Center (CATC) for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region based in Cairo - Egypt and now is considered as one of the 80 CATCs in more than 165 Countries around the world.

NTI has started with Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP) since 2001 as both Regional and Local Academy.

"Cisco Networking Academy is a global education program that teaches students how to design, build, troubleshoot, and secure computer networks for increased access to career and economic opportunities in communities around the world".

Networking Academy provides online courses, interactive tools, and hands-on learning activities to help individuals prepare for ICT and networking careers in virtually every type of industry.

We Train, Support and Monitor around 29 Regional Academies and 354 Local Academies in 13 countries namely: Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Palestine, Afghanistan.

NTI has carried out several training classes for the academies instructors and has given support in the initial setup, train the trainer, monitoring performance, and quality assurance.

We Deliver training for students and instructors either in house (2 Premises: Nasr City and Smart Village) or on-site.

NTI as Cisco Local Academy helps the Egyptian fresh graduates from Faculties of Engineering & Computer Science to bridge their gap in networking know-how by providing them training courses on Cisco Curricula and enrolling them in the Cisco Networking Academy program.

  1. High-level of government support and commitment to maintain and expand the academy program.
  2. Validation of Arabic Curricula.
    NTI has participated in translating and validation the Arabic version of CCNA curriculum by two of its experienced academy instructors.
  3. Appointing local academies from Universities.
  4. Gender Initiative.
    NTI and its local academies encouraged the direction of gender balance by both enrolling students and recruiting female staff.

      • 60 Egyptian Faculty members were qualified as instructors.
