NTI-Huawei Egyptian Talents Academy (ETA)

Building digital talents is one of the ICT sector's strategic objectives to fulfill Egypt’s Vision 2030 toward a digital society. NTI and Huawei Egypt are collaborating in establishing the Egyptian Talents Academy (ETA).

This Academy aims to build the capabilities and digital competencies of students and university graduates in Huawei’s training programs in advanced technology specializations through cooperation and partnership with specialized international companies to expand the base of trained communications and information technology personnel in all Egypt governorates.

ET Academy focuses on enhancing youth's competitive capabilities in line with the local and global labor market demands by offering training in several technological specializations in NTI branches and its Creativa Innovation Hubs in almost all Egyptian governorates to hone their skills and to train and empower talented Egyptians starting with the basics and moving on to associate, professional, and expert levels.

ETA will spearhead a transformative shift in Egypt's ICT landscape, ensuring Egypt's competitive edge in the digital economy by harnessing industry-leading expertise and state-of-the-art infrastructure. The primary objective is cultivating a highly skilled workforce proficient in next-generation ICT technologies. A variety of disciplines will be covered in comprehensive training modules, including but not limited to data network (Datacom), security, fifth generation (5G), artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, etc.

Enrollment Requirements:
- The applicant must be an Egyptian national.
- The applicant must have a suitable educational qualification or be a final-year student.
- Fulfill the basic prerequisites for each training track.
- Submit the required documents for enrollment in the program.
- Pass the admission tests.
Required Documents Upon Acceptance:
- A copy of the national ID card.
- A copy of the graduation certificate for graduates.
- An enrollment certificate or university ID card showing the academic year the student is enrolled in.
- One personal photo.
- A commitment statement to adhere to the scholarship conditions, to be downloaded and uploaded through the program's website.
General Rules of the Academy:
- Each applicant must create a personal account on the Academy's website to upload all required documents.
- Ensure the accuracy of all information recorded in the commitment statement.
- Adhere to the required number of hours for each training program.
- Maintain an attendance rate of no less than 80% of the total hours of the program.
- Demonstrate appropriate behavior when interacting with trainers and organizers of the Academy.
- Complete the program and pass the required exams to receive the attendance and course completion certificates.
- Preserve the course materials and refrain from publishing them online (intellectual property rights).
- Submit a new signed commitment statement for each training course the trainee enrolls in.
- Submit or send a withdrawal notice via email at least 48 hours before the start of the training program.
- All correspondence must be conducted through the official Academy email: ETA@nti.sci.eg.

Q1: Who is eligible to apply for the offered scholarship?

A1: Those who hold appropriate qualifications or final-year students at an Egyptian university, provided they meet the specific requirements for each training specialization as announced on the website.

Q2: Does the study require attendance at the institute's premises?

A2: The training takes place at the premises of the National Telecommunications Institute or at the creativa centers in various governorates of Egypt.

Q3 - Is there practical training or is the study only theoretical?

A3 - The study includes both theoretical and practical aspects. Practical training is provided according to the content of the training unit using the latest means and specialized programs.

Q4 - What is the duration of the training unit?

A4 - Various training modules offer multiple courses. The duration of the first-level units is a minimum of 70 study hours and increases according to the training level enrolled in.

Q5 - Are employees allowed to join the scholarship?

A5 - Advanced levels, which enable the trainee to obtain an expert degree, are allowed for employees to improve their efficiency.

Q6 - Am I allowed to enroll in more than one training unit?

A6 - To ensure specialization and efficiency improvement, enrollment is allowed in only one training unit at a time.

Q7 - Is there a mandatory sequence for attending units?

A7 - The sequence of units depends on the requirements and specialization of each unit. You must review the conditions of each training unit and meet the necessary prerequisites and skills for enrollment in the training courses.

Q8 - If I enroll in a new training unit within the same training track, do I need to pass the admission test again?

A8 - Each training unit has its own conditions and admission test, even if it's within the same training track.

Q9 - Do I receive a certificate for each training unit, or is it one certificate for the entire training track?

A9 - A certificate of attendance is issued for each training unit separately, including the trainee's evaluation during that unit.

Q10 - How can I inquire about the scientific content of any training unit?

Q11 - Can non-Egyptian nationals enroll in the scholarship?

A11 - The scholarship is for Egyptians only.

Q12 - When will I be contacted for the personal interview?

A12 - An email will be sent with the date and time of the personal interview within two weeks of the registration closing date.

Q13 - When will I be notified of the personal interview result?

A13 - If accepted, you will be contacted by phone or email to confirm the submission of the necessary documents for enrollment in the training unit.

Q14 - What should I do if I made an error in my registration details and need to correct it?

A14 - Send an email to ETA @nti.sci.eg with your full name and national ID number.

Q15 - When is an applicant considered accepted for the scholarship?

A15 - Acceptance for the scholarship has several stages:

Meeting all the conditions for enrollment in the training unit, as listed on the registration page.

Completing the personal interview.

Submitting all required documents.

Q16 - When are certificates issued?

A16 - Certificates are issued within a month of completing the training unit and sent via email.

Q17 - How do I withdraw from the scholarship?

A17 - Send a withdrawal request at least 48 hours before the start date of the training, including your full name, national ID number, the training unit you applied for, and the registration number to ETA@nti.sci.eg.

Q18 - The training schedule is not suitable, and I need to defer?
