An American delegation from Virginia Tech Intelligent Communications was welcomed by Prof. Ahmed El Sherbini, The NTI Director, at the National Telecommunication Institute headquarters in the Smart Village on the 10th March 2010.
The American delegation was presented by:
- Dr. Richard Benson, Dean of Engineering.
- Dr. Scott Midkiff, Dept Head, Bradly Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
- Dr. Barbara Ryder, Dept Head, Computer Science Dept.
- Dr.Bev Watford, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
- Dr. Glenda Scales, Associate Dean for International Programs and Distance Education.
- Dr. Sedki Riad, Professor of Electrical Computer Engineering.
They took a tour inside the NTI building and finally discussed a new cooperation between the NTI and Virginia Tech Intelligent Communications in the field of Training Consultancy Services and Technical Support.
