NTI presents The first Distance Learning Program for Telecommunications Policies and Regulations for Arab region.

The first Distance Learning Program for Telecommunications Policies and Regulations for Arab region was provided and managed by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) cooperatively with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

A total of 21 trainees and specialists working in the field from seven Arab countries of Jordan, Libya, Palestine, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia and Egypt took part in the program .

Dr. Ahmed El-Sherbini, NTI Director and Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for International Cooperation, noted that the program was entirely planned by the e-Learning Center staff at NTI .

Dr. El-Sherbini added that Dr. Hisham El-Badawy, Head of Networks Planning Department at NTI, worked on the scientific curricula of the program in cooperation with a number of the department engineers, and The teamwork at the e-Learning Center designed interactive e-pages and other multimedia presentation tools required for the illustration of the educational material. Then the team managed an interactive training process between the instructors and the trainees through the ITU website .

This is the second time for NTI to cooperate with the ITU as the two entities collaborated before in offering and managing the first distance learning program in the field of Voice over IP (VOIP).
