ITU Secretary-General Dr Hamadoun I. Toure visited the National Telecommunication Institute in its headquarters in the Smart Village. He welcomed by Prof. Ahmed El-Sherbini, Deputy Minister of Communications and IT for International Cooperation and NTI Director who accompanied him through a tour inside the NTI. They both visited the NTI scientific labs and the NTI Scientific departments discussing the activities of these departments.
During the visit Prof. Ahmed El-Sherbini held a meeting with Dr Hamadoun I. Toure in the presence of Dr. Miloud Ameziane the head of ITU Arab regional Office and Dr. Ahmed Al Hefnawy the vice chairman for Egypt post to discuss the cooperation fields between the ITU and the NTI.
During the meeting Prof. Ahmed El-Sherbini gave Dr Hamadoun I. Toure the NTI armour appreciating his efforts in developing the ITU activities and for supporting the cooperation with NTI.
