"Multi Protocol Label Switching" workshop was organized in Cooperation between NTI and ITU.

A workshop on Multi Protocol Label Switching "MPLS" was organized on the period from 12^th to 14^th July, 2009 cooperatively between the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The workshop was held at the NTI headquarters in the Smart Village.

The workshop was an interactive learning experience for over 20 participants, including representatives from 6 countries. 5 participants from Egypt, 5 participants from Jordon, 3 participants from Emirates, 1 participant from Saudi Arabia, 2 participants from Djibouti, 2 participants from Oman and 1 From Sudan.

Workshop day one was for the official opening Ceremony and the welcoming speeches by the ITU ARO representative and the NTI representative, followed by three sessions; the first session's speaker was "Mr. Jacques Baudron", the second session's speaker was "Dr. Omayma Adel Mohsen" and the last one was for "NTI Staff".

Day two was represented in four sessions; the first and the third sessions' speaker was "Mr. Jacques Baudron", while the second and the last sessions was for the NTI staff.

Day three was represented in four sessions; the first three sessions' speaker was "Mr. Jacques Baudron", followed by a Panel Discussion and the Closing Ceremony.
